The first step of polishing to remove rust involves scrubbing away rust, which will cause temporary deep scratches on the metal surface. In the second step, you need to use an extremely fine polishing pad to carefully buff out these scratches until the surface is smooth and approaching its original condition—note that non-professionals cannot fully restore the metal surface to its original state.
- Very important: please make sure you use it on stainless steel metal and not stainless steel/satin nickel finish. if a magnet can stick to it, it's not stainless steel metal, so double check before using it as a fridge cleaner.
