Siete Leguas D'antano Extra Anejo Tequila is made by Siete Leguas, a family owned business, which originated in 1952 by Don Ignacio González Vargas. He was inspired by Pancho Villa’s famous horse who was known for going “7 Leguas” which is how Siete Leguas got its name.
After Don Ignacio González Vargas produced his own tequila, his 7 offspring went in his footsteps and continued the family owned business. Till today Siete Leguas is well known for their high quality tequila and has been in production for over 65 years. Siete Leguas D'antano Extra Anejo Tequila is a unique blend made using original processes created by their ancestors. The process of creating this renowned tequila is inclusive of complex steps of harvesting, cooking, distilling, and fermenting in order to create a liquor that lives up to premium standards. Aged for five years, the esteemed blend consists of enhanced aromas of oak, vanilla, grass, cherry, citrus, and fruit.
You will be struck with flavors of chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, spice, nutmeg, honey, and agave for a very complex yet balanced combination.
