This framed, antique Hood Dairy trade card from the early 1900s features an is an intricate, die-cut lotus flower with a sepia-toned pastoral scene in the center.
In looking for a frame for this delicate piece, we found this antique wooden frame and thought they would pair well. The frame already had a printed scene in it which we fully intended to replace, but when we combined the two, we loved it. So in fact, this piece combines three authentic antiques - trade card, printed scene, and frame -- into one, original art piece.
