President Tambour Credenza

This is a ‘President’ Credenza, designed by Hans J. Wegner in Denmark in 1965. This particular piece was produced by Ry Møbler sometime in the later 1960s. The credenza sports a handsome Brazilian Rosewood veneer with lots of movement, applied on both the case and on the tambour-doors. The squared-off tubular steel legs lend lightness to the design. We have had the piece professionally refinished, and the grain is stunning. The inside of the unit offers lots of storage, having three compartments with adjustable shelves, as well as dovetailed drawers within. It is appropriately stamped with its Danish maker's mark, and it retains its original Wegner pulls.

This credenza measures 19.25 inches deep, 78.75 inches wide, and 31 inches high. The piece is in excellent condition, having been freshly refinished. While there may be a few remaining scuffs and signs of age, overall, the piece is in terrific shape. Please see photos.
