DOWNHILL BOTH WAYS

Built for shuttle laps and big mountain lines. With longer travel and gravity-
focused geometry, it thrives on fast, technical descents. And the Bosch CX
Gen 5 motor gets you back to the top for another lap.

The Ibis Oso HD is built for riders who want downhill-bike confidence with the freedom to earn lap after lap under their own power. With 165mm of rear travel, a 180mm fork, and gravity-focused geometry, it’s designed for steep terrain, rough tracks, and high-speed control without sacrificing climbing capability.

At the heart of the Oso HD is the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 drive unit, delivering up to 120Nm of torque with smooth, natural-feeling assist that stays controlled in technical terrain. Paired with a 600Wh internal battery and optional 250Wh PowerMore range extender, the system offers up to 850Wh of total capacity for long days, repeat laps, and backcountry missions. A low, centered battery placement keeps handling balanced and composed on descents.

The Oso HD is built around Ibis’ proven dw-link suspension platform, updated with V5 kinematics to balance traction, support, and composure through rough terrain. The suspension remains efficient under power while staying active and controlled through repeated hits, making the bike equally capable on technical climbs and aggressive descents.

Geometry is progressive and highly adaptable. Smaller sizes ship with a mullet setup for agility and fit optimization, while larger sizes run full 29” wheels for maximum rollover speed and stability. Thanks to the modular dropout system, riders can fine-tune chainstay length and wheel configuration to match terrain or riding style. Combined with a slack head angle and long front center, the Oso HD stays planted when things get steep and fast.

The carbon chassis is loaded with thoughtful details, from molded frame protection and long dropper insertion depths to integrated Bosch controls and Kiox 400C display. Everything about the bike is designed to handle hard riding without unnecessary complexity.

(Changing wheel size (between 27.5/29 rear wheel) requires a configuration change available only through a Bosch-certified shop like Fanatik so the drive unit reads your speed accurately)
