Built from red sandstone in 1875. In 1913 it was automated. The octagonal tower is 19 meters high. It was built with double walls to provide stability and reduce moisture inside. Inside the tower there is a spiral cast-iron staircase. The building is connected to the tower by a covered passage. The light signal from the lighthouse is visible from a distance of 16 km.
