Our Timothy Blend Hay (also known as Meadow Hay when purchased in a bale) is a crunchy mix made from high-quality seed grasses, including Timothy, Rye (Cotswold Sweet), and Fescue. This blend is made using traditional field-drying methods, offering you a more cost-effective option while maintaining excellent nutritional value.

It has lovely long, crunchy strands and has a mixture of fuller rougher Timothy seed heads, as well as a mix of Rye (Cotswold Sweet) and Fescue Grass. The majority of this mix is Timothy Hay.

This hay is ideal for digestion and teeth maintenance in your pet as it contains long, coarse strands. Our Timothy blend has a diverse variety of seeds which makes it the hay of choice you would want your pet to have a balanced diet and encourage their natural foraging instincts.

Our Timothy Blend/Meadow Hay is a coarse cut so is best suited to pets who enjoy a crunchy hay or need to wear down their teeth. Guinea pigs and smaller animals usually prefer our Silky soft or Cotswold Sweet hays for bedding liners or hay piles however would still enjoy this hay to keep their teeth in check.

Product qualities:
✓ Long, Crunchy strands
✓ Fuller, rougher flower head
✓ High in fibre

Depending on the format you choose to purchase this variety it will change the name of the product on the packaging but the hay inside is the same! If you purchase a box it will be called 'Timothy Blend' or if you purchase a bale it will say 'Meadow' as shown in product photos.

If this is your first time purchasing this variety of hay, we highly recommend starting with a sample box before ordering a larger quantity.
