The upper body is constructed from Hydrus 3.0 fabric, Kokatat's waterproof breathable material that delivers reliable dryness and comfort across a full range of conditions. The pants are built with Hydrus Tough, a more abrasion-resistant version of the same fabric, placed where contact with the boat, shore, and gear is most likely. Nylon waterproof front entry and rear relief zippers are pliable and comfortable against the body, and latex gaskets at the neck and wrists create a dependable waterproof seal on cold Canadian coastal water and lake crossings.

Two standout features make the Odyssey genuinely versatile beyond the cockpit. The removable Hydrus 3.0 hood with pile-lined collar adds meaningful weather protection when you need it and stows cleanly when you don't. Removable interior suspenders hold up the lower half of the suit when you want to drop the top in camp or on the beach, keeping things practical during longer expeditions. Reflective accents on the arms and hood add visibility in low-light conditions, and an adjustable bungee drawcord at the waist fine-tunes fit over varied layering.
