Fabric roll of 40 2.5-inch by 44-inch (width of fabric) strips from the Scary Scraps collection by designer J Wecker Frisch (Joy Studio) for Riley Blake Designs. The concept for Scary Scraps was inspired by a 1913 children’s book which was generously gifted to artist J. Wecker Frisch during a quilt retreat. Upon first sight of the treasured pages the two likeminded creatives, Janet and Sue Raspberry began sharing ideas. The antique illustrations conjured up for each of them a number of directions for a future fabric collection. Shelved until Janet could give the attention it deserved took a few years but once she set her focus on a fun Harvest/Halloween theme, the ideas would again fall into place and at just the right time.
