Islas Bar - Ardbeg Wee Beastie 5 Year old 2.5cl 47.4%

Ardbeg Wee Beastie is a bold, uncompromising single malt from Islay's most peppery distillery. Matured for five years in ex-bourbon casks, this compact 2.5cl expression delivers the full force of Ardbeg's signature character: intense peat smoke, briny sea spray, and a medicinal edge that defines the distillery's house style. On the nose, expect thick peat reek mingling with citrus zest and a hint of vanilla oak. The palate is robust and warming—smoky and spicy with notes of black pepper, iodine, and a subtle sweetness that emerges mid-sip. The finish is long and dry, with lingering smoke and a pleasant peppery warmth. A perfect introduction to Ardbeg's unfiltered, cask-strength approach to whisky-making. Best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water to unlock its complexity.
