Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang tonifies the qi of the middle burner and raises sunken yang. The most important formula for treating weakness of the central Qi, with signs including poor digestion, fatigue, and general weakness. Sunken Middle Qi, Qi Vacuity.

Other names: Tonify the middle & Augment the Qi Powder, Central Chi Teapills, Arouse Vigor, Ginseng & Astragalus Formula

  • Radix Astragali Membranacei (huang qi)
  • Radix Ginseng (ren shen)
  • Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (bai zhu)
  • Honey-fried Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis (zhi gan cao)
  • Radix Angelicae Sinensis (dang gui)
  • Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae (chen pi)
  • Rhizoma Cimicifugae (sheng ma)
  • Radix Bupleuri (chai hu)

  • Huang Qi (27.8%)
  • Chai Hu (8.30%)
  • Bai Zhu (8.3%)
  • Sheng Jiang (2.8%)
  • Gan Cao (14%)
  • Sheng Ma (8.3%)

SUGGESTED USE:

FOR DOGS:

<30 lbs……….½ tsp. twice a day, or as prescribed
30-80 lbs…….1 tsp. twice a day, or as prescribed
80-120 lbs…..1 ½ tsp. twice a day, or as prescribed
>120 lbs……..2 tsp. twice a day, or as prescribed

FOR CATS:

¼ tsp. twice a day, or as prescribed

FOR HORSE:

(for the 1000 lb Horse ) Two tablespoons two times per day for 20 days then two tablespoons one time per day in grain. Note: In the event of refusal to eat herbs start with small amounts of herbs in grain until the horse is acquainted with the taste. Almost all horses will eat the herbs in their grain.
