The Grove Zero Ultrasonic Sensor is an input module that measures the distance to the object or obstacle in front. The Ultrasonic Sensor contains a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter converts electrical signals into ultrasound waves, the receiver converts received ultrasound waves into electrical signals.
By measuring the time between transmitting and receiving the ultrasonic wave, the distance to the object is calculated. The ultrasonic sensor provides a measurement range from 3 to 350 cm with a 2 cm resolution.
