• Details:  A very rare card, a real treasure!  This card by Charlot Byj (1920-1983), (signed at the bottom right), shows a sweet angel praying.  There is a large golden star on top, most everything is softly outlined in with gilding, plus a beautiful brushed gold border.  A very elegant Christmas Card, very old and in absolutely wonderful condition.  The card is made of ivory-colored card stock by Coronation #2131.  This card is NOS, never been used.  Due to its age, rarity, and condition, it would be a rare treat for a greeting cards collector or a Charlot Byj admirer.  Includes original envelope.

• Dimensions:  6.0 x 3.75 inches 
• Condition:  Vintage (NOS), New Old Stock.  Very Good Vintage Condition.  This card is blank, never used.  There are some glue marks on the back from the envelope. Card and envelope are both slightly yellowed, acceptable due to age/storage.  Please review pictures and make sure you love this item before purchasing, we can't accept returns.  Please remember these are ANTIQUE and VINTAGE items, they are NOT new, every effort has been made to show scratches, wear and tear and imperfections. 

Charlot Byj was an artist known for her greeting card designs, posters and advertising artwork in the mid-1940s. She joined the Goebel company in the late 1940's and is most famous for the transformation of her artwork into a line of figurines created by Goebel.  These soft colored, angel cards are extremely rare.
