Honey Gourami

The Dwarf Honey Gourami, scientifically known as Trichogaster (Colisa) chuna, is a beautiful and peaceful fish that can make a great addition to any freshwater aquarium. These fish are native to the streams and rice paddies of Southeast Asia and are popular among aquarists for their unique coloration and peaceful personalities.

There are several color varieties of Dwarf Honey Gourami, including the wild type, yellow gold, and red. The wild type has a predominantly brownish-grey body with stripes, while the yellow gold variety has a bright yellow body with red markings. The red variety has a deep red body with black markings on the fins. All three varieties are stunning and can add a pop of color to any aquarium.

These fish are peaceful and can coexist with other peaceful fish species. However, it's important to avoid keeping them with larger or aggressive fish that may bully or harm them.
