This tape offers an extremely low coefficient of friction which, in combination with a pressure sensitive silicone adhesive, creates a smooth, non-stick surface over a variety of substrates to assist in the movement of web materials in many types of roll-wrap applications.</p>

• 3M 5480 Skived PTFE Film Tape uses a combination of low friction/non-stick polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a powerful silicone adhesive to form a tape that can be used as a quick solution to reduce friction between moving surfaces or function as an anti-stick or easy-release medium.
• PTFE’s exceptional temperature range and chemical resistance make it ideal for use on equipment that is heated/may experience temperature increases while in use, as a layer of protection from chemicals that may cause buildup, or to assist in the movement of web materials in roll wrap applications.
• Excellent in MRO applications to reduce squeaking, rattling, and reducing overall machine noise.
• Suitable for use in temperatures ranging from -65F (-54C) to 500F (260C).
